After a particularly tumultuous 2020, Battery Solutions wanted to reach back out to current and former customers, including those who had paused service due to Covid-19, to let them know their recycling friends were thinking of them during the holidays. I had designed a tri-fold holiday card, overlaying symbols of location city skylines over a wintery scene to build a sense of connection cross-country.
Using the card for inspiration, I animated a paper puppet show, giving the illusion of storybook layers opening up to a final holiday greeting. Versions of this video were featured on social media and included in year-end presentations for customers. The final product can be watched here!
